If you have a back condition, perhaps it is a good idea to take along someone who has the same back condition or at least a person who understands how you will need to sit. You can “pretend” to work, type or talk of the phone while you are on your ergonomic seating at a desk. Don’t be worried about people in the shop looking at you; it is far more important to find the right ergonomic seating. Your partner might notice some lapses in correct posture that might escape you, and if you are not able to sit correctly, you certainly won’t be comfortable in that spot after eight hours.
